ABOUT US

Lisa Smith, President of LMN Consulting, LLC, is a Senior Procurement and Sourcing Executive with over 25 years in the Procurement/Supply Management field.  She holds a BA from Michigan State University in Supply Chain Management, and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.  Prior to starting her own consulting firm 10 years ago, Lisa was Vice President of Procurement for Sara Lee Corporation where she focused on strategy development, organizational design, global sourcing, process implementation, continuous improvement, and supplier relationship management.  Lisa also currently holds the title of Professor and Program Coordinator for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) program at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois.

Lisa has been a featured speaker at the Michigan State University (MSU) Executive Summit on "Supplier Integration", and a guest lecturer on "Project Management and Innovation" for the MSU Supply Chain School.  She has been a contributor to Food and Drug Packaging Magazine, and a keynote speaker for numerous strategic supplier sales meetings.  Lisa has been featured in the MSU Executive Summit Briefing, and has been published three times in Inside Supply Management Magazine with "Embed Supplier Resources for Maximum Results" in 2011, "Persuade and Lead in Order to Succeed" in 2014, and "Sourcing Communication Competencies" in 2019.  Lisa also holds the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation, and resides in Elhmurst, Illinois with her husband and her two boxers.
